XP Boosters are items that temporarily increase the amount of experience points a character earns. These can be purchased from the nexus. The amount of Realm Gold XP Boosters cost depend on how long a XP Booster lasts. XP Boosters are a soulbound, consumable item which lasts until death or until the character reaches level 20. The timer runs as long as the player on the same character the XP Booster was used on. Like Loot Boosters, the timer is paused when the player exits the game or pauses (via /pause), and resumes when the player reenters the game or unpauses. While it does double XP, it does not double fame gain. Therefore, the game does not allow level 20 characters to use an XP booster.
