So I have a soft spot for poetry, but people keep telling me I should become a poet, because I’m apparently gifted with creative writing…

But here’s a poem that I made, and I thought you would like…

Only took like 2 hours xD

Cosmic
By Keenan Ryan

Your world,
Marble of the green and blue,
Engulfed in a net of a shimmering cosmos,
Where the spotlight pinpricks the float of dazed planets,
Spiralling around a yellow nexus,
For a display with no encore.

The cape of everlasting stars to be frisked with orbs,
An unknown providence for these globes,
Dancing in their own shifting nova’s,
While comets divide the ever present darkness,
With streams of blushing white that make a second seem a light-year,
A rare sight.

Be tranced by the nebula’s that rip the shadow into carpets of blazing colours,
Or how about the garden of gravity,
The fields of magnetised planets that draw a land of asteroids on a voyage,
Where nothing but light and dark shapes its journey,
With no destination or plan,
It strides into the depth of uncertainty.

The universe is an orchestra,
It plays its circle symphonies,
With its fingers to fiddle with the ceaseless set of instruments,
While a stretching string of dusty light,
As it casts harmonies of roaring flames and flickering embers,
Into a gale of galactic sands.

For our small planet,
Its a front row seat,

For a horizon of delight,
Or an abrupt disaster.
