Adobe Flash 18 screen broke?

When I switched over to Flash 18 from Flash 29 this happened.

Any idea what caused this?

I get fps lag on the latest version. People say that flash projector 18 is the best for rotmg.

I know that most people say that, but that is just an urban myth. Some people say one thing, and some say another. But the unbiased truth is that different versions work for different people. Some people have optimal performance with 18, while others have optimal performance with newer versions. Try different versions and see what works best for you. Don’t assume one works best just because people say it works best for them. Ya know?

It only happens when you’re near the black tiles next to walls (especially in labs). Not sure what exactly causes it but shouldn’t really affect you anyways.

Sadly even adoble flash 13 also has the same problem.

could be a problem with your own graphics, or maybe try turning off hardware acceleration in the rotmg options menu

Thats a well known visual glitch in a couple different projector versions. If the newer versions are too laggy for you, and you’re bothered by that visual glitch, you could go all the way back to 11.2. It doesnt have that rendering error, and its less laggy than modern versions, but the only drawback is that 11.2 is more likely to crash than 18 in my experience.

I guess any version you pick has downsides, and you have to choose based on what you’re willing to sacrifice.

I’d say ignore it, it doesn’t really have much effect on gameplay, it’s just a little bit annoying.

Resizing your window also appears to affect the shape of the duplicate display by the way.
