You can bypass it easily, no point in even having it tbh.

I just use at the bottom

#3

It’s annoying

#4

/confused

Explanation, please. @Starwartwo

#5

Urm, what is this about?

#6

I guess people who type incoherently only get this message. I’ve never seen it.

#7

He is saying that whenever that pop up comes up, he does
<sub
#8

It’s to prevent all-caps IIRC. Just type one lower case or yeah, some random HTML tag at the end
.

@Doc huh I was wrong I guess. I’ve gotten similar messages when using all caps, I’ll experiment when I get home. I’ve also often messages such as “you’re talking too much >25%” and “stop replying to one person and get a room already” .

#9

ALL CAPS YOU SAY?

… no message.

#10

Its cause Doc is our favorite mod ;D
Don’t tell OB

#11

OK, we won’t.

@OtherBill

#12

not all caps.

Also MOD ABOOSE

#13

No do not remove this.

#14

I’m pretty sure you can’t remove this. The forums run on this software called Discourse, and they basically have some pre-made settings and features. You can research it for yourself, if you’d like, as I’m not really the most knowledgeable on this.

#15

I always use <k> to bypass any stuff like that, but also to turn  into :)
or to turn http://www.realmeye.com/ into http://www.realmeye.com/.
You can even turn

into

<img src="/forum/uploads/default/original/3X/2/b/2b04840187c59f2d22f2690b2242b501a607dfd6.png" width=“690” height=“155”>.

Told yah so, Candy and Shatter beat me to it but all caps does result in that message, I’m not going crazy.

Also, regulars need 2 characters instead of 10 I think (because I’ve seen #10char posts, but for me the error message says “2 characters required”).

#17

DONT TELL ME WHAT

[edit: No message. Perhaps I did it wrong. OB]

#18

Try a 26 letter capitalised string without spaces, attempting to post that got me the message.

It seems to be working fine if it prevents (some) garbage being posted.

#19

There ya go. That did it.

However, I still hold to my previous statement. I see no reason this should be removed.

#20

BUT WHYYY
see what I mean?
