Classes shouldnt be seperated by period tbh

i think everyone should take the same core class (unless they’re 200 iq, then they use a laptop to take the higher level class), and electives should be hosted in the computer lab, in which you learn online
this would support the act of knowing everybody better
i remember making really good friends b/c i went to a school there
course that was before they locked me in a storage closet because i had aspergers ( the school administration not the classmates)

no effective

some people have issues with the brain resulting in slow development

there will always be stereotypes and judgement

would not fit for all types for classes, such as technology classes that involve working with machines to create projects, would also be very expensive creating that man computer labs

Classes would be too big and would be too many pupils for a single teacher to get round.

Higher level classes are usually easier to concentrate in and lower sets can have a few people that love to ruin it for everybody else. Sticking them in the same classroom wouldn’t work really.

You could just speak to people you don’t know at lunch time or go and play sports and meet new people.

I got locked outside on my own for 3 hours for trashing a classroom because my regular teacher wasn’t in. Mainstream schools lack experience when it comes to dealing with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children, if it becomes a big problem I’d advise trying to find a school that Specialises in dealing with kids that have SEN.

I do think the school system works to an extent and does the job it’s supposed to for those hat don’t really care about having friends, however I do see some of your points.

well, in high school I had a ceramics class for one of my electives. I bet doing that in a computer lab would go over really well.

Erm, I call, it:

Waste of Money!

Judges:

AMAZING

Your use of hammer to smash computer screen was impeccable!

Etc. Etc.

#6

i meant like everybody is split into classes that take the core class

#7

shut up noob ceramics is obsolete

#8

Past tense?

wow thats cool. the coolest elective we had was challenge and change probably since we had nothing really.

honestly thought this was talking about ig classes for a while.

so this topic really confused me. like what do u mean by

is that not already so? in hs you have mandatory classes to take. (at least this is assuming you are talking about hs). if you mean difficulty level, i disagree, as someone who actually liked to hear the teacher, mixed classes/applied classes was just a bunch of people talking and disrupting class all the time. Also it would be hindering for those who care about school to constantly be dragged behind by those who dont really care. Also those who are naturally untalented/disabilities would feel awful compared to the “smart” students (not that it is a neccarily bad thing since they do that all the time in asian countries).

wait what? i see no reason how taking classes online would make you have more friends. all i see is that they would need more computers in the school thus more costs. also people would like to skip school more since knowing that they can just do it online.

Also there is the problem of self control, at least in my school you couldn’t take the online course until gr 11/12, because they theoretically should have more self-control. This would just end up with a ton of people chatting in the labs.

Also then what is the real purpose of schools if you can just learn everything online? Like what do those business teachers and such come to school for? They could just stay at home. not that this is a bad thing.

Also its a lot harder to get help on online courses.

yeah dont think there are too many iq 200s… in university, practically all my friends have taking things like AP/IB thus having stronger foundations and getting ahead of me in those subjects. Is this purposely to make university harder?

how does that relate to computer labs? if you you went to school, would it not be easier to make friends if you actually shared a class inside of everyone just staring at a screen.

is this a serious post? do you want to go online courses so that you can meet more people there? Do you want it so it would be easier to hide your disabilities to others when online?

And finally i dont understand how the title relates to the topic at all.

I am totally lost.

sorry for replying on such an old comment.

i never said that i was trying to make friends. As well, in class, im still better (or equal) than everyone else at not looking at their phones. And if I took all online classes, I’m sure i would even have less friends.

And such a comment is kinda weird now since in the last 1.5 year I might have progressed one day (maybe)

i never said i wanted to take online courses, do not twist my words.

i mean if someone is ahead of the curve and is taking a higher level class they could take it on a laptop.

epic plug me in

i feel like you made responses as you read the post, and not after you read it, as I clearly explained a fix
