make a way to sort all the comments in the thread by like “most liked” or something like that

Under the OP there is a Summarize button. This generally filters out everything but highly liked and frequently replied to comments. I don’t think there is anything else approaching what you’re asking for.

I’m not sure, but I think the option will only appear if there are 49 or more replies in a thread

Apparantly there is a fairly easy solution (https://meta.discourse.org/t/sort-filter-by-likes/26193), but I wouldnt count on the admins to do anything at all
