Janus Lag Popped my First 7/8 Character

Well R.I.P my first 7/8. I was doing Janus so I could do some encores and after Janus died, the game lagged and I rubberbanded and when the lag was done “Key Of Light” Popped my 7/8 knight. I lost acclaim, acrop, collosus, and pixie :frowning:

Oh no! However, there’s nothing you can do about it except to write an email to DECA about lag, and maybe you can get a tomb key or something. I’m too nice to ask someone to move this to Whine Cellar, even if it should be, mainly because I had the same experience on my 7/8 knight to UDL boss. Good luck rebuilding!

My friend, I’ve had the same experience
5/8 knight, first ever 5/8 with blue set except for expo, and then Janus lag got me and I got hit by the 10 shots of the key of light. I had 733 hp, but then my game froze and I couldn’t nexus :frowning:

What? This behaviour shouldn’t be encouraged. DECA doesn’t need spam email like this.

whale den, just remember to stay safe when rubberbanding, apparently the dupers got ahold of the server quality recently. Just close out the game or if you’re lucky enough, run back to the stone guardians area, just a place where no enemy is. Better safe than sorry. Oh, and just saying, deca does not revive characters no matter what reason, unless it was from their fault and was unavoidable in any way (ex. swatsec hijacked all account credentials via the old owner’s database a few years ago and hacked a few guys. How is that preventable in any way?)

It would be better if you didn’t make a separate thread, as there is already a dedicated death thread for cases like this just to avoid clutter, ya know?).

That sucks, I’ve seen someone else post about this before and it was from the key of light as well.

All I can say is that you should recognise those armour break shotguns (similar to septavius) and take extra care because you know there’s the possibility of being insta-popped :slight_smile:

Yeah but I couldn’t do anything about it, as soon as the lag stopped my knight was already dead

Don’t listen to people when they tell you where the safe spot is. I stood at the "safespot and a key of light spawned right on top of my ppe priest :pensive:

Ok, the next step (if you notice a huge rubber band) is to literally nexus out or close your browser window.

There have been cases where I hold the power button on my computer to force it off (albeit rarely).

The risk almost never outweighs the reward. Aside from this, not sure what to say.

Live, die, repeat.

tops on a 7/8 makes sense though, only tops on 0/8 is just… not good

Of course they don’t, but they can be taken into consideration.
