[Spoilers-ish] Item Forge Changes and a lot of misc/bug fixes

Item Forge Changes

this is what was said on the blog post

We plan on adding new high-end items to the Item Forge, but at the same time we are gathering data and trying to adjust and balance the values of materials. We realized we will need a new tier for these high-end items, which will require more materials. This will happen in a future update and we’ll keep you updated on it. Also, we are happy to put the forge to more use and consider different options for new craftable items.

On testing there are only 2 main changes:

  • Event Whites and O3’s whites (but not miniboss whites) cost 180/160/60 from 135/120/45 (so 4 UTs rather than 3), their dismantle cost remains the same 45/40/15

  • There have been new blueprints added, each with a singular Event White or O3 miniboss whites

*i expect o3 miniboss whites to cost more too, they just arent yet

There’s also 2 Crystal Cavern UTs added into each of these (waki and star), but that seems very unrelated.

Best guess: all the event white/miniboss whites will work like what the Jugg/O3 white blueprints work like already, but with an added cost. It would be a pretty simple change, so we’ll see if that’s what they actually end up going with. It does line up with what the blog said.

From what Kidd said here, the update is only a week or 2 away, which should have forge changes + the below stuff.


Misc/Bug Fixes

there’s a good chunk of these

  • There’s a couple skins/pets, including a new exclusive set for partnered content creators, but they’re all irrelevant to this

  • “Hero of the Nexus” fame bonus fixed to no longer include seasonal dungeons

  • Belladona’s final phase Bella Bud shots do less damage (150 -> 100) but also stun for 1.2 seconds now, forcing you to actually dodge them

  • WLab troom is now stasis and stun immune

  • Son of Arachna’s “Spider Star” sprite has changed from this to this, and also does 200 damage from 280

    • This is basically directly in response to this reddit post, more visible (no dark on dark) + less damage
  • Besides that, CDepths also had like 2 enemies and the red webs do less damage

  • All 3 constructs should have behavior changes to be separate from each other (someone go check this on testing, at the very least they don’t all have the same shot or hp anymore)

  • Oryx’s Escutcheon no longer has “cooldown 2 seconds” in its description.

  • Third Dimension’s mark gets the Mark tag so it’ll show in the vault as one now

  • Reskin Puri’s (Botany Book) stats are finally fixed

  • Some grammar fixes on items, also most, if not all, of the apostrophes that were fucked are fixed (’ turned into ’)

  • Oryxmas Carol (reskin christmas lute) xp bonus fixed (4% to 6%)

  • Halls got multiple changes, they’re likely going to be more than what’s said here

    • Spawners got some changes, I couldn’t tell you what exactly they were but according to some guy in the discord they always activate

    • For the final phase of MBC, the void petrify and paralyze shots do less damage and petrify and paraylize for shorter (both 1 second to 0.6 seconds, 250 -> 200 for petrify and 185 -> 150 for paralyze)

    • They seem to have finally fixed the wrong icon in Cults

  • There were some changes to Crystal Cavern too, and according to that same guy in the discord, the bats blink before exploding now
