I don’t usually get pissed when I die, but this time I’m a bit infuriated. The newest event, the Jade and Garnet Statues are the cause of my Paladin’s death. Well, specifically the Jade Statue.
I’m all about learning from my deaths, trust me, but when the advice I have to give myself is literally “avoid this content in the game” then I am sure that the game should change, not me.
This is a similar deal with Gulpord as he easily popped many characters in a heartbeat. One difference however is that I truthfully had no time to react. There was no lag in play, not at all. Gulpord moves slow and does not zip forward but he has a similar effect that this event boss does.
Anyway, after experiencing this I advise anyone that values their character to avoid this event and dungeon all together. It isn’t really worth it anyway. I’d much prefer no one else have to experience this theirself.
Pfft, I need some time to cool down. I honestly didn’t expect DECA to condone insta-popping especially after fixing all those stacked shots n such.

Unfortunately it doesn’t change the fact that this event is the most dangerous for absolutely nothing. Reminds me of Puppets before the change. I’m sure there are plans for a UT to drop to make it a bit worth doing - that wouldn’t encourage me tho considering how low event drop rates are anyway.

I expect the upcoming(?) wings of the mountain temple will make it all worthwhile.
Avatars aren’t particularly worthwhile loot-wise either, but people still do it.

Yeah, I’m hoping there’ll be a reason to play the content. The UTs there are nothing special right now too. I don’t think anybody really does the Avatar thinking about Avatar loot, I know don’t. I do the Avatar regardless of whether I want to do a Shatters though, mainly because the fight is just fun to me.
On a side note, the day they buff tablet is the day I play Wizard. c: (Probaby not soon or at all, lol.)

The best way to teleport to events as notoriously dangerous as these is to someone close by, but not directly on the event itself. Although this might work negatively for slower characters, most of the time it will benefit you quite a bit in terms of survivability.
