The @ function not working properly

#1

When I @ someone, sometimes it doesn’t seem to work.
For example, let’s say I @ myself.
@TROLLDLLR .

Sometimes, I can’t get that to happen.
The text appears like this:
@xdthisisatest (Not who I actually @ but just a text example).

@Moderators seems to do this alot.
@moderators
Also, why does the capital M prevent the @Moderators from being notified, but the lowercase m allows them to be notified?

#2

Because it’s case sensitive. Next time make sure you capitalize everything you need to.

#3

let`s test it.

@Niegil

#4

How about we not spam niegil

Edit: you deleted everything

#5

ping me and test

#6

@gGaodzilla

#7

@sCyKrIn

#8

worked

#9

aids ping

#10

A possible reason why @Moderators doesn’t work is because there’s literally a dude with IGN “Moderators”.

Other than that, I’m gonna do more

@niegil @Niegil @nIegil @niEgil @nieGil @niegIl @niegiL @NIegil @NiEgil @NieGil @NiegIl @NiegiL @nIEgil … (shit, I forgot combinatorics, how many versions of Niegil can I @ by changing letter cases … that’s a lot…)

#11

wtf dont use me as a guinea pig

#12

This made me laugh more than I should’ve

#13

ftfy

@niegil

#14

Apparently group @s are case sensitive.

Also if the player doesn’t have a forum account, it doesn’t let you @ them.

Example: @Regar

#15

Yeah, I know if they don’t have a forum account it doesn’t ping them.

GGoad is particularly susceptible to this

#16
