The mighty lag [connection issues]

Aight so… I have no one using my internet…
All of my devices’s internet is off.
My PC is the only thing that has internet on (Yes I closed my microwave)
I open RotMG, select best server option.
I OPEN rotmg and press… P L A Y .
I look at my statistics, 9000 net jitter.

what do u use? web? client? steam garbo? if web what browser?

Turn off any VPN you may be using.
Make sure to use your ‘Best server’, if that one lags for you try other servers.

If you’re using web try out the Flash Projector

If these don’t work it may just be your side, I didn’t have problems when I last played and neither GGaod or Smirror seem to have had any issues, if it’s on your side we don’t have much that can help you.

So You Think You Have Lag?

Here’s what you do:

• Set Graphic to “Low” (sorta lessens game quality, but you gotta do what you gotta do)
• Set Shadows to “Off” (shadows are completely useless and causes so much lag)
• Set Ally Projectiles to “Off” (in pub dungeons like TOA, OT, and LH, this really helps trust me)
• Set Particle Effects to “Low” (somewhat helps tbh)
• Don’t play RotMG with a bunch of tabs (it just gives you more lag)
• Try not to record while playing (only good computers don’t lag when recording while playing games)
