Trouble logging into old account

Windows 10, Flash Player, Chrome.

About 7 years ago I made a Rotmg account with my old email address and never thought about it again. When I tried to log back in by resetting the password a couple of years ago I never received the email, so I just made a new account with my current email address. Only recently did I decide to try and log back into my old account, and after resetting the password and using my old email address I logged into an account that I had never seen before, I was in a guild I had never been in before, I didn’t recognize any of the guild member’s names, and Realmeye says that all the guild members were last active from 7-2 years ago. In the end, I guess all I want is to have my old account back. I know that I wasn’t able to give much information but I would be more than happy to discuss this in a discord call/dm. If you are able to verify that you own the account (“Eniamor”), maybe Deca could delete that name so it would be available when you get a name change, but other than that, I don’t know how to help you.
I mean, it’s essentially a new account (as in it shouldn’t have too much stuff on it) soo…

Maybe he wants the account because it’s seven years old and he’s technically an old-timer.

You could email deca and ask them to change the email to the old account to a newer one if you forgot it.

I would definitely be able to prove the account is mine, but I would want the account back for the signup date, like what GammaGamer said about the old-timer. Still not completely out of the question on getting the name deleted though.

IIRC when Deca took over there was a grace period to migrate/confirm/set security/verify accounts before they purged the remaining inactive accounts.

I’m pretty sure a 7 year old account is long gone now…

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s what happened, although I would still hope that it’s not true lmao. Oh well I guess :stuck_out_tongue:
