What other languages do you speak?

Other than english, what’s your mother tongue/second language/foreign language, and why you are learning this lanugage
You can list english as one of them, if your mother tongue isn’t english, but please also list your mother tongue or we’ll never know where you’re from >.>

It’d be cool for someone to collect data from here and make a chart hint hint

I’ll start, my second language is Mandarin Chinese, because I am half Singaporean Chinese.

Cantonese chinese (which is better than Mandarin) which is technically my first language although I was born in England…

Second language is English

French! Learning it mostly for fun, I took it in high school and really enjoyed it. Now I’ve been using Duolingo for practice.

English is my 2nd language but i prefer it over my first language:

“MACEDONIAN” / Македонски

I also understand Serbian a lot.

I tried but failed to learn German and Albanian.

I speak English (first language), Cantonese and Mandarin too! Fluently spoken and can read, but can’t write Chinese that well :frowning:

Mandarin! It has 4 tones whereas Cantonese has 9 and many phrases (mainly spoken slang) can’t be written
