What the fuck is the Whine Cellar

I wasn’t sure where else to post this, but what even is the Whine Cellar category? I’ve seen things from the gr8t b8t copypasta to the “ok boomer” thread to some redacted topic about a scam. I really don’t know where else to ask and I’m not even sure if this is the right place. Is it just some place for bad or troll posts? Someone posted a legitimate complaint there about the game, so does it also double as a place for whining about the game?

The Whine Cellar is the forum garbage containment unit. Mods, aka trash collectors, will move unwanted content here.

The concept is people are going to post trash no matter what. It’s like a universal law of the internet or something. The Whine Cellar gives those people a place to vent, thereby, hopefully, reducing it’s visibility from the wider forum.

Right now we set it so New users cannot even see it, Basic users can see and reply, and Member+ users can add new topics.

I have to say i’m happy to see it’s not been needed that much yet.
