Alright, so yesterday I made my 5th account for RotMG. When I went to go and change my name, I typed in a name, and it said “Not enough gold.” Even though I never actually chose a name for my 5th account, and I know that message only shows up when you try to change your name, not when you decide on your first ever name. If there is a way to fix this, please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks!

Try doing it from the character select screen if you weren’t doing so already.
If you’ve tried that and the statue in the nexus and it still doesn’t work, contact Deca.

I had this exact same problem when I made an account. Pretty big bug, considering new players will see this and think that they have to pay gold to choose a name!

Are you attempting to change your name for the first time? If so, try changing it at the character select screen. If not, you will need to pay money.
