Is it possible to have a setting to disable skins

Skins were added to make people look cooler, and earn money
Without skins, everyone would look so- plain, with no variation.

I think most people would rather have their game run better and look more bland (and be able to tell classes apart better) than have everything look really good (personal preferences) and run like trash.
