How does that work when you get hit simultaneously by several different shots at once? For example if I eat an entire Bes shotgun, which shot is considered to have triggered the grace period?
How does that work when you get hit simultaneously by projectiles from several different enemies at once? Does only one shot count and if yes which one? or is it one shot per enemy?
How is this not exploitable by people with a lag switch? Since after lag the resync between your client and the server makes shots stack, people would just make themselves lag on purpose to stack a bunch of shots and easily tank them all, since with your idea that’d be the same as taking only one shot to the face.
If you get rid of shotguns then you’re making long-term regen even better. That’s just how that works.
Never been a problem for other MMOs or bullet hells.
I’m just trying to make you understand that putting a bandaid on a wooden leg isn’t going to help.
By itself having enemies that can kill you instantly if you fuck up isn’t a bad thing, if anything it adds to the challenge. It’s only a problem when dying is extremely punishing.
