LH prism rework

#1

After testing the lost Hall’s prism more in-depth with the testing server, I think that the prism is a little weak and kinda useless considering where it drops from. I think the prism would benefit if it dropped a decoy where your cursor was, instead of where u are, as that would be a lot more useful.

Lmk your thoughts

#2

did you take that idea from me in reddit??? hmm???

#3

This is a very popular idea, he could’ve easily though of this himself.

I agree, making it appear where your cursor is would make it a lot better, making prisms walk where your cursor is pointed would also be a good buff for trickster (on prisms that dont teleport you)

#4

Wait it doesn’t drop a decoy at your cursor… I thought was how it worked lol.

#5

no it drops directly where you were standing

#6

Wow, so it’s basically worse then a t6 other then very occassionally.

#7

I think it’s the only useful prism. Not sure how it can be weak

#8

It’s actually kinda useful, but only really if you’re a big kiter.

#9

Id be more prone to pushing enemies back really but I need more experience on trickster

#10

True, the LH decoy is obsolete in most situations given enough skill with the tiered prisms.

However one place where it really shines is in decoying crusade commanders.

#11

Yeah I could see that definitely (kind of what I thought of honestly lol)

#12

</3 I thought of it :frowning:

#13

haha make sense

#14

Putting the decoy where ever your cursor is could create a lot of trolling.

If it wasn’t used for trolling, I still think too OP

I like the idea of the decoy going in the direction of your curser though

#15

How did you test the LH prism when we weren’t testing LH

#16

The testing server had free items for trickster and assassin for people to try out.

#17

I thought that was how it worked until I used it on the testing server as well.

It’s really lame honestly, for dropping from the LH. I completely agree.

#18

One of them was the LH Prism?

#19

Having the decoy go where your cursor is would be really OP.

I think the magma brain is pretty decently balanced as is. It has decent decoy time, the decoy doesn’t wander off making it extra useful for luring enemies where you want them, and the decoy itself can activate pressure plates making it extremely useful for tombs. :sunglasses:

Yup.
