Based on this, there are effectively three “tiers” of keys costing 50, 100 and 200 gold respectively. Shaitan’s got the biggest decrease in cost (I think?) and Shatters, Tombs, OT’s, Puppet Encores are 200 gold now (the dungeons people like to buy :wink:).

And ‘empty slot’ key on RealmEye keys page is really the Mountain Temple key, which costs 250 right now.

New content! Most of these patch notes are self explanatory, so let’s just address the major part of this update, the Mountain Temple. The first wing is now live, and the first thing you’ll notice is that this dungeon is beautiful. RotMG has never before seen such a breathtaking level of detail in a dungeon’s aesthetics. Beige and thq32df have set the bar high, so send your praises to them!

As for the gameplay, don’t take this dungeon too lightly. Similar to the Mad Lab, it’s not too tough as long as you take you’re careful, but it’ll make you pay if you get cocky and screw up. The boss, Daichi, is especially capable of killing those who are unprepared, as he wields some very heavy attacks.

He even sorts a (somewhat) new status effect, Petrify. This effect has actually been around for a while, and I’m fairly certain it was initially made for the Mystic rework, but now it’s finally seeing its first use. I said it’s only somewhat new because the effect is more of a combination than a truly new effect. If you’re hit by it, you’ll be both paralyzed and stunned, as well as go greyscale like in the Stasis effect. This is extremely lethal if you’re hit by it while trying to run away from something, leaving you vulnerable to death in less than a second. Get familiar with what inflicts this, you’ll want to stay away from it.

Good luck in the first wing of the Mountain Temple! Have fun, stop Daichi and grab some new loot on your way out!

Nooo this cannot be! (Okay it was expected!) Just damn annoying that they made the Feather be a lower drop rate throughout the event than Cleg/Anatis, which any good hoarder would still have had squirreled away in their vaults from previous years’ events.

Any ideas where does the Mountain Temple drop/spawn from?

& I’d seen EU servers doing a middle of the night restart and was curious, glad that’s been answered. It can’t have been good for “business” to do the restart at 2100-0000 local time acting as a prompt for a lot of players to log off, I’d guess. Middle of the night much more sensible.

The artists, Beige and thq32df (so glad they found that guy!), are both Japanese. In the early days of the game there was a strong contingent of Japanese players, and their influence as well as a few players remain to this day.

I found it kind of annoying that this “Bunny” dosen’t appear as a quest…
Some of us spends like 10 min, to clear eggs and when that giant bunny appears we try to hunt it down for another 5min.
Then someone finds it, but dosen’t call it and yeh… Just wasted 15min. to get a quest I didn’t even got a chance to shoot at… Makes me kind of frustrated…
Please DECA make the Giant bunny a quest that appears on your map!
