Hey everyone,

Alky here with a quick update on today’s patch!

“Woah, a new patch already?” - a RotMG player, probably

I know, I know, we already had a patch last week. But today we’re just releasing a bit of content, activating the St. Patrick’s event, fixing disconnection issues, removing a couple obsolete tokens from the game and giving you a heads up on upcoming events.

What’s gone

• Hearts & Love Letters tokens have been removed from the game

• The February Platinum, Obsidian, Ruby & Gold Dungeon Shards have been removed from the game

• O, R, Y, X tokens have been removed from the game

On a related note, we will proceed with removing more obsolete tokens in upcoming patches.

What’s on

Fixes

• Fixed the disconnection issue related to certain enemies and dungeons (Kage Kami, Ghost Ship, Davy Jones’ Locker, Haunted Cemetery, The Shatters, Ice Cave, Battle for the Nexus and Cave of a Thousand Treasures)

• Fixed various stat comparisons in equipment tooltips

New

• Chase the Leprechaun!

A rare monster that only appears once per Realm cycle, killing him will open a portal to the Rainbow Road for some unique loot - we have revised the Pot of Gold drop table:

• Clover Bow

• Leprechaun’s Walking Hat Pet Skin

• Miss Shamrock Wizard Skin

• Saint Patty’s Brew

• Sword of the Rainbow’s End

The Leprechaun will disappear in two weeks (on March 29th), happy hunting!

• Dungeon Leprechaun!

That sneaky little green guy is trying to steal your dungeon loot, don’t let him! Three dungeons will host a Dungeon Leprechaun event from March 15th to March 22nd. The Dungeon Leprechaun will spawn in each of the below dungeons after the bosses are slain, so hunt him down to get something from their respective drop tables:

I’m sure I should put this in Known Bugs but in AE, in realm, in an abyss there is “No event at this time” and no leprechaun.

If you pop a key in your vault there is an event on and you get a leprechaun.

No idea why I had abyss keys in my vault but I solo’d 6 and got one DBlade, 3 backpacks, 6 def and 6 vit. Methinks I may have gotten lucky on this one…

I soloed a realm abby earlier (maybe an hour or two ago) and got the lep, only vit and def tho

I’ve always wondered why the new companion items (deers, veteran 2017 and now st. patrick ones) have this crazy high cooldown (15mins), what’s the story behind it?
