[Spoilers] More Class Balances: Helm Rework, Prot/ST Skull/QoT Buff, Prismimic and more

#1

subject to change and again will be on pt

All the “compensation” for the berserk, damaging and armored nerfs are kinda here.

most things that are meant to not be paralyze/stun immune with the new immunity system are also there

Seals

not much here surprisingly considering that not healing immediately is a pretty big nerf. oreo got an ok buff though

the effect values are base values, before wismod

T0:
MP: 65 -> 60 (wow)
Effects: nothing -> +10 HP 2.5 sec 6.5 range

T1:
Effects: nothing -> +20 HP 2.5 sec 6.5 range

T2:
Effects: 10 HP -> 30 HP

T3:
Effects: 25 HP -> 40 HP

T4:
Effects: 45 HP -> 50 HP

T5:
Effects: 55 HP -> 60 HP

T6 (same has been changed for advent seal):
Effects: 75 HP -> 70 HP
Stats: none -> +2 VIT and WIS

Oreo (Seal of Blasphemous Prayer)

Stats: +4 SPD, -4 DEF -> +4 SPD (no more losing def)
Effects: Invulnerability for 1.2 seconds -> 1.6 seconds

Helms

Seals might not have been changed much, but helms got a big rework.

  • Helms no longer have a cooldown

  • Helms also now have wismod

  • Their range is longer at base, and only goes up from there

  • The base duration is shorter, but could get to what we have now

  • every 10 wis past 30 = 1 second

  • every 1 wis past 30 = 0.1 tiles range

again, most of these are before wismod kicks in, it’ll be higher starting at 30 wis

Every tier:
Berserk Range: 4 -> 4.5
Cooldown: something -> nothing

T0:
Berserk and Speedy Duration: 3 -> 2.5 sec

T1:
Berserk Duration: 4 -> 3 sec
Speedy Duration: 4 -> 2.5 sec

T2:
Berserk and Speedy Duration: 4.5 sec -> 3 sec
Stats: +5 DEF -> +4 DEF

T3:
Berserk Duration: 5 -> 3.5 sec
Speedy Duration: 5 -> 3 sec
Stats: +6 DEF -> +5 DEF

T4:
Berserk and Speedy Duration: 5.5 -> 3.5 sec
Stats: +8 DEF -> +6 DEF

T5:
Berserk Duration: 6 -> 4 sec
Speedy Duration: 6 -> 3.5 sec
Stats: +10 DEF -> 8 DEF

T6 (not the same for christmas reskin yet):
MP: 85 -> 90
Berserk and Speedy Duration: 6 -> 4
edit: t6 stats @ 50 wis

Helm of the Juggernaut (not the same for halloween reskin yet)

same as tiered, no more cooldown, berserk range is 4.5, wismod is added
Berserk and Armored Duration: 4.5 -> 2.5 sec
edit: stats @ 50 wis

t0 orb lost 5 mp (65 -> 60) and t5 gained 5 (80 -> 85)
kinda useless but ok

Orb of Conflict

Stats: +2 ATT, +2 DEX -> +5 ATT, +5 DEX
also some changes in wismod

“Compensation”

as said earlier, things that used berserk/damaging/armored previously but weren’t intended for the nerf get some compensation

Tome of Holy Protection

+4 VIT -> +4 DEF

Memento Mori (ST Skull)

+15 ATT on equip

Quiver of Thunder

not compensation but there’s no longer a cooldown, since there’ll be a new system for status effect immunities

Base/Level Up stats

deca actually remembered to update the base level 1 stats and how much you gain per level for the buffs to stats on pally, mystic, ninja and samurai. too lazy to get specifics

Prismimic

prismimic

New temporary realm event (like keyper) for events and shit. Somehow related to Crystal Cave (again). There’s an attacker and a defender, and each of them can transform into half of the other bosses. also there’s 2 items

items

Prismimic

The perfectly cut head of a Prismimic, dastardly agents of the Crystal Entity. Its copying abilities are unprecedented.

Creates an expanding ring of 8 decoys

(you also teleport)

MP: 85
Stats: +3 DEX
Fame: 6%
FP: 380

Mimicry Trap

A crystal trap with a built-in luring mechanism. The perimeter of the trap reflects light toward the center to create an illusionary mimic.

Trap: Creates a centered decoy for 1 second.

Trap: 50 damage in 4 tile radius for 3.5 seconds
Fame: 6%
FP: 750

Oreo and Mystic Buff
#2

Ooh, the abilities getting touched as well 0u0

With wismod taken into account, this becomes 1.6+(75/125) = 2.2 seconds of invulnerability. Neat!

Longer range, wismod…nice!
Wonder what the mod’ll be like…

Kinda weird that they went for inequal Berserk/Speedy durations for the odd-numbered helms, but whatevs. That’s probably the wismod doing its thing.

…Those changes being?
I want to know everyfin, kneegill

Prismimic…seems promising. Hopefully the Crystal Cavern gets something good of an associated event this time 'round >.>

#3

Praise Deca

#4

Wismod on warr??? noice.

#5

Wait… Isn’t t6 helm worse then t5 now? because it costs 5 more mp for 0.5 seconds of speedy

#6

Probably won’t be.

#7

but won’t the wis mod be the same cause the difference is based off of a constant rather then the starting amount of time so it’s still 0.5 seconds speedy and +2 def for 5 mp cost

#8

Just saw that Niegil uploaded the wismod, which is indeed the same, so nvm >_<
Kinda weird that they did it that way, though…

Still, I disagree that the T6 helm is worse than T5, only cause a) +2 vit/wis and b) equal speedy/berserk duration

#9

But like… I’m pretty sure I can infini on t5 helm with my pet but not entirely sure about t6 but I can see the advantages of t6

#10

Hello, what are you guys going to do about armored ninja? Will the stats of the Daybreak Chakram be changed?

#11

but why it’s just perma armored on divine pet

#12

So basically helms are getting boost while seal are hella nerfed noice

#13

Ninja’s Daybreak Chakram ability nulls mp healing.

#14

ohh lol i actually never checked it’s just not interesting this idea was reposted several times on re

#15

now with the armored nerf boosting it might be a good idea

#16

prot buff!

Let’s say my def is 45+4
Get armored
I get 73.5 def
Meanwhile old armored is 90 def

It’s still a nerf :frowning:

#17

yeee but 73-74 def on priest is more than enough

#18

Wow, marrior is wismod now! that will be so cool!

#19

tbh this wismod is irrelevant at 50 wis you get the same buff duration as before and no one is going to use wis equipment on warr what really matters is lack of cd on helm which actually allows warr to truly perma buff

#20

Don’t forget about the big picture in that they are changing both berserk and damaging from 1.5x to 1.2x, so the buffs wont have the same effect.
