Yes, this has happened at least since I started playing, albeit uncommon. I don’t think it’s a bug, just a simultaneous closing of the realms, for one reason or another. It can cause a hilarious stir depending on the server!

You’d know if this was legit closing of all the realms at the same time, if they reopened 2 minutes later.
But there has been a bug recently where the realms haven’t been closed, but the portals simply disappear, leaving the players inside the realm, until they nexus (or try and leave a dungeon). This has been mentioned in some other posts, I’ll try to find a link hang on.
