So knight is obviously pretty OP against any enemy that can be stunned for obvious reasons. The enemies quite literally cant do anything. The issue with this is, however, is that because of this game-breaking ability and the introduction of perma-stunning pets, the knight in pretty much any endgame dungeon, as well as a variety of other events and dungeons has been rendered entirely useless for boss fights. The only importance he can bring is stunning the few enemies allowed in LH, stunning the few enemies allowed in Shatts, etc. So my idea is rather than overhauling some shit, why not just add an additional effect to Knight’s shield that can take place against 90% of the enemies that are intended to take every status effect except stun.
The status effect I think should be in place is a form of weaken, which reduces the enemy damage done by 25%. The number is low because A. the stun immunity is there for obvious reasons, we don’t want bosses getting completely steamrolled, but its still there because it can add some significant meaning to a knight without having to grind relentlessly for an ogmur that rarely ever drops. Any boss that does 200 damage only deals 150, 100 damage drops down to 75, etc. and the status effect should only last as long as the stun. Why? Because if the enemy is stun immune, then the weaken effect still goes through, if not, the weaken effect has practically no use because the enemy is just stunned anyway. Could actually bring viable meaning back to rolling with knights in endgame content.
