Worst Class in the Game?

#32

I’m fairly sure WisMod will be introduced to the skulls soon?

Other than that it seems like most classes are fairly balanced now in terms of what they’re meant for. There aren’t any super-duper sucky classes really. I mean, I personally don’t like sorcerer because I think it’s boring, but not everyone thinks the same.

#33

Crossing my fingers for this.

#34

trix is just fine most ppl just simply cant play it properly, for my money the worst class assassin ive never had fun playing it and it really doesn’t contribute to a group mentality

#35

Wow, a lot of people here saying the trix is garbage. If you think trickster is garbage I got news for you: You are garbage at the class. You can cheese almost every boss in the game with it and if you think it sucks you have never used it to its full potential.

???

Only underutilised classes are the Assassin, Necro and the Ninja.

Assassin is just sub-par compared to other dagger classes, the acid drop takes way too long in the current game where everything gets steamrolled. It’s like playing a rogue without the invis or the trickster without the dps and mobility. Simple question, why?

Necro is outclassed by the other staff classes and the heal is alright under the right circumstances but is rarely useful in any meaningful dungeon. It’s an amazing starting class as it has a good mix of everything, self-heals, range and damage but once you get to end game it becomes pointless to play. If you’re setting up a 5 man shatters team your friends won’t appreciate you bringing your necro.

Ninja is fast, alright but what else? Damage is okay, etherite makes dagger classes more interesting and dbow makes bow classes more interesting. The ninja star skill is pointless in 99% of situations, and the skills don’t give any bonus stats so it can’t really be played in more ways than 1 (unless you are black bullet in a shatters).

The decoys actually do magic though. EZ DPS on O2.

#39

Even if the trickster’s ability is weak (I think it’s decent if you master it), it’s stats still make up for it, with 65 atk, 75 dex, 75 spd. On the contrary, Priest’s ability is quite good, but its stats are shit (50 atk, 55 dex, 55 spd).

Ninja’s stats are good (70 atk, 70 dex, 60 spd), but its squishy range makes up for it.

It’s all equips vs stats balance.

#40

Obviously sarcasm, based on the way he’s talking (100 def is a big cue).

I wouldn’t believe someone doing thousands of UDLs without dbow, chance of not getting a dbow in 1000 udls is 1 in 23163. (and 2000 UDLs, it goes to 1 in 536 million)

#41

Yeah, and Trump is the greatest president in the history of the United States.

#42

not sure what your calculator is smoking but it can’t be anything legal

#43

LOL Trump. Totally nothing shady going on there.

#44

The maths add up. Chances of running 2000 UDLs without a DBow are 0.99^2000 = 0.0000001864% or 1 in 536 million as stated.

Took me an embarrassingly long time to work that out.

Still better odds than rolling a maxed char. 1 in 61 quintillion for a wizard apparently.

#45

Doesn’t take many layers of RNG to blow the chances of getting perfect to near 0.

Kind of like winning the lottery, your just guessing 6~8 numbers, shouldn’t be that difficult should it?

But it turns out 45^6~8 is quite a high number indeed.

#46

get the fk out of here that would be super good, let’s stay real here

#47

I think the question should he asked like this. If had to only play 1 class for the rest of the time you play realm. What character would give you the worst time playing the game. So in that situation I would have to pick ninja since it has never brought me any enjoyment, that is just my personal opinion of course so it does not make it the worst class for everyone in the game just me.

#48

tell that to techmech

#49

In a perfect world sure, but this game isn’t balanced well enough for it to be a preference thing. You can still like and be good at any of the classes, but some of them are just more efficient at doing certain or all things.

#50

damn, that’s alot of likes

#51

As it happens, I have numerous of these “worst” classes as a 6/8 right now, and I can tell you all in honest truth: I really enjoy playing the Necromancer.
It’s not the same as my Wizard, sure, but it’s soooo satisfying when you succ an enormous amount of health from all those enemies.

As for Ninja, also pretty fun. I’ve lost two in total - a 3/8 PPE and a 6/8 with Doku - but the one I have right now is still very powerful. It takes some skill to position yourself favorably, which I think scares people away from playing Ninja. The shuriken/star can deal quite some damage, even if it doesn’t give any stat boosts. The Speedy can also be extraordinarily useful - if used correctly, again.

Next, Assassin. As it is, I’ve never succeeded in getting 800 fame on an Assassin, but that’s just…my fault. I like playing Assassin, even if the poison is a bit underwhelming nowadays. Regardless, I feel safer with a throwable bottle of liquid poison than with some fancy-looking mirror. (;

Sorcerer, I needn’t give many arguments. Scepters are great now, Sorceresses everywhere, and of course lots of PEWPEW!
