The Lava Blend is a blend that the Abyss Idol throws, like the blood bomb a Medusa throws. Once it hits the ground, a Lava Blend starts forming around it that does 40-50 damage per second and ignores armor. They spread slowly until finally stopping and disappearing after a while.
