Legacy Tier Explanation

A new specialised NPC could always be addedā€¦:man_shrugging:t5:

I know. Really looking for a unique way to make these different besides a different way of obtaining them. As always, Iā€™m open for suggstions if youā€™d like to contribute.
Thereā€™s also a Google Document that Iā€™m developing it on if youā€™d like to be part of it. :slightly_smiling_face:

My idea: They would drop as cursed version. Cursed LTs cannot be unequipped once equipped and their stats are lowered. To remove the curse, player must kill specified boss using this item (deal the killing blow).
If cursed LT is in your inventory (not equipped), you canā€™t enter dungeon of the specified boss.
Example:

Ghost Ripper (Sword)
(Some stats)
This item was cursed by: Septavius the Ghost God
Drops from: Lord Ruthven

 ā€¦Ideaā€¦

If I were to add this, killing blow may be a bit hard to pull off. The only way Iā€™d see it fit is to keep it dropping from fairly common dungeons.

Then opens up another problem, players may simply equip the weapon thinking that it looks cool to use and then end up not being able to remove them.
This may make using them unfavourable.

I do appreciate your contribution and I do plan on adapting and incorporating it into the resultant idea.

A use for treasures?
owo whats this

#17

Dude this is a truly magnificent idea!

#18

Why not give them 100 feedpower instead? That way they are still just as useless feedpower-wise without having an anti-aesthetic number.

#19

New class is coming out

#20

I donā€™t know what ability the new class would use, so I cannot include it.

#21

I feel like haveing a feedpower of 1 would make the player less inclined to want to drop the item ir feed it.
Instead, i believe they would keep it in their cault and actually attempt to farm for the dungeon treasures.

#22

@PIGGIESFAR and @TokinBud
I actually drew it from a previos idea that I had:

Nothing wring with recycling and updating old ideas :man_shrugging:t5::smile:

#23

It could drop from rare dungeons but be cursed by common dungeon bosses.
Item should be very useful in this dungeon, to show when itā€™s good and profitable to use it.

ā€œTHIS ITEM IS CURSEDā€ and
ā€œIT CANNOT BE UNEQUIPPEDā€ written below description with red font is enough.
Other effects of curse and way to remove it could be explained below stats.

#24

16 cuz the new class has 2 different abilities

#25

Does it?

#26

i think its like 2 * possible * abilities and one will be scrapped at the end

#27

not all of them are from dungeons, me and redox kinda just looked around for monsters without drops
ie: one of em drops from a non boss monster in a dungeon, a lot of em drop from mobs in the realm

Mmk hereā€™s my point again:

Players never feed 100fp items, nor would they ever feed 1fp items. The only difference is that 1fp looks like a shitty joke number thatā€™d get tacked onto an April foolā€™s item, while 100fp looks like an actual fp that is in line all of the fps currently in rotmg (theyā€™re all divisible by 5, and most are divisible by 10).

Hereā€™s another way to say it:

Super-cool, uncharged LT items donā€™t deserve to have a feedpower of 1 because it looks like a joke. Just change it to 100 (or even 50) because that would still never get fed.

#29

I would do 50 to make it consistent with pots and marks

#30

@Harryvvvv and @Nameness, consider it done. :ok_hand:t5::slightly_smiling_face::+1:t5:

Also, would anyone like to join me on the Google Document to help speed up the process of developing and balancing the ideas?
