If you don’t know what a shinobi is, a shinobi is basically a ninja (it’s like how some americans say say soda and some say pop), but for the sake of this being a new class and all, let’s pretend that shinobis are actually something else. You should actually be glad that I picked shinobi, because if it wasn’t shinobi, it was kunoichi, but kunoichi is literally a female ninja, and there are skins for ninja that are female. I couldn’t pick kunoichi anyways, because of the pillock that made the crystal kunoichi set for ninja. And if we want to get technical, a samurai is just an armored ninja with less honor. And a ninja is just a walmart trickster with snake eye ring, but has it as the ability instead.
Shinobi
Game descr: The shinobi relies on dodging and espionage, using her katana and kusarigama to cripple foes.
To unlock: Reach level 20 on Trickster and Ninja
Now, you might be asking, what the fuck is a kusarigama? It’s basically a chain scythe.
You: So it’s the soulcursed scythe.
Me: Ok, look here, “buddy”–

Why isn’t her clothing black, isn’t she supposed to be stealthy? OK look here, pal, if I made her clothes black, she would be a ninja minus 2 pixels.

The shinobi will be a fast class that is able to do a lot of damage, like Phil Swift, but quieter, and sexier.

Kusarigama
Before anything, here’s a quick sprite of a T0 Kusarigama, only to show the overall shape/design:
The shading is really scuffed.
How all tiered kusarigamas work:
When you press spacebar, it will swing out a chain and projectile like the soulcursed scythe. The chain is there for cosmetic reasons only (does no damage). The kusarigama blade latches onto ONE enemy, and you must hold your spacebar for it to stay latched onto the enemy. It will do impact damage, and continuous damage per second when latched, and when you retract the kusarigama, it will inflict a new debuff called “crippled”. If the enemy is killed, you automatically retract your kusarigama (if you go out of range, it is automatically retracted). When you hold your spacebar, you will not expend mp/second because the kusarigama only hits one enemy, but while it is latched, you will not regenerate MP.
Crippled:
Projectiles fired from enemies that are crippled will lose 20% of it’s lifetime and frequency(to retain same shot path), meaning shorter range. All debuffs that the projectile inflicts will only last 50% as long.
EDIT: Several people discussed how only changing the lifetime would alter the shot path. I did not know that lifetime changed the frequency, but now that I do, the easy fix is to also decrease the frequency by 20%.
