The Tinkerer is a friendly NPC who is accessible through the Daily Quest Portal north of the Alchemist in the Nexus. Shares the room witht the Login Seer.
Every day, the Tinkerer gives players several quests, most of which involve defeating specific dungeon bosses and obtaining their respective mark. Once the player has enough marks for a given quest, the Tinkerer will reward the player with a Quest Chest or an Epic Quest Chest, depending on the quest difficulty, along with other miscellaneous consumables such as 1-Hour XP boosters, and Holy Water (The Vampire Lord quest).
One of the Quests may be a Scout Quest that only requires one dungeon mark but gives 2 Potions that the dungeon boss would have normally given.
On any given day there will always be:
The three standard quests will not be the same quest.
You can reroll the quests for gold up to 2 times per day, does not include event quests. The first reroll costs 100g and the second reroll 250g. Rerolling will replace all quests with new quests (open and completed quests alike)
Note: Midway through the Halloween 2017 event, each Scout Quest awarded a guaranteed Magic Pumpkin in order to make obtaining them, and the Helm of the Jack-o’-naut easier.

There used to be a daily Egg Quest at The Tinkerer, randomly selected from one of three options. As of patch X.18.0 (Update 2017-10-25), the Egg Quests were removed, and replaced by the Scout Quests.
