A pirate who's seen many battles (but probably only with little baby hobbits and scorpions.) You can tell he's been scarred by many a dagger, arrow, and flying venom by his eye patch and scars. The **Cave Pirate Veteran** is an enemy that is found in the [Pirate Cave](/wiki/pirate-cave). Cave Pirate Veterans make up a decent portion of the enemy force you'll encounter inside the Pirate Cave. However, their damage output is very weak and their resilience thinner than paper.

Simply firing at a distance is ample way to defeat them. But be wary, if you stand still with 0 DEF and there are many of them, the damage can rack up surprisingly quickly. Their movement may also be harder to work around for slower, low-range classes.
