Behavior

Remains mostly stationary while being circled by its squad of Oryx Infantry around it. It will occassionally fire dense rings of silver slashes that deal major damage. When all its minions are slain, it go vulnerable and start following players with a 3-shot spread of silver slashes. It is currently unknown if the Champion can be slain before its minions.

Tips and Strategies

Get up close to him to drop his invulnerability before attacking with all your firepower. Be ready to back off once you he starts chasing, as being sat on deals full 600 damage, capable of severely injuring any classes. Knights can stun him to make it safer to approach, while Tricksters can lock him in place with a Decoy in its final phase. In small or solo raid, it is advised to kill the Champion, as a cleared Oryx room provides enough space to drag particular enemies such as Crusades or Golems, or simply bench oneself to regenerate their HP. Before Exalt Version 1.3.1.0, the Champion of Oryx used to be invincible unless approached, summoned groups of minions as it lost HP, and only started chasing when at low health.
