Behavior

Remains stationary while maintaining its squad of Oryx Infantry around it. When it sees an enemy, it will attack with a directed 3-round spread of silver slashes that inflict Pet Stasis. It also lobs Black Bombs over long range that inflict Darkness. The Champion is almost always invulnerable, and will only drop the invulnerability if approached closely. Every time it loses 1/3 of its HP, it will turn invulnerable again and summon an Oryx Admiral to defend itself. Once it is below 1/3 HP, its 3-round shotgun gets upgraded to a 5-round shotgun, nearly doubling its firepower.

Tips and Strategies

Get up close to him to drop his invulnerability before attacking with all your firepower, but beware of his shotgun. Also be ready to take out the Admirals he spawns to defend himself.
