Behavior

Gaius is found on one corner of the pentagram in the middle of the Cultist Hideout boss room. When the battle begins, he will teleport around, stopping to fire pentagon-shaped bursts of Yellow Shots. When enough damage is dealt to him, he will teleport back to his original location. Once all 5 cultists have been dealt sufficient damage, they will summon [Molek](/wiki/molek) and disappear. Once Molek is dead, the process repeats, with the only difference being that the Cultists now fire 3-burst spreads of their projectile shapes instead of single ones. Once all of them have been sufficiently damaged again, they will summon [Balaam](/wiki/balaam) and vanish again. Once Balaam is dead, the process repeats, but this time the Cultists will fire 5-round bursts of their shapes. Once all five of them have taken enough damage, they will sacrifice themselves to empower [Malus](/wiki/malus) and start the second phase of the fight.
