The **Goblin Mage** is a low level [Quest Monster](/wiki/quest-monsters) that is found in the [Lowlands](/wiki/lowlands) forest. As it hits low health, it tells its minions to attack, so make sure your DEF is high enough to mitigate the damage! Goblin Mages are not inherently dangerous, they do possess two different attacks but both of them deal minor damage. These foes are dangerous because of their minions, who they will order to attack you in a swarm upon being injured.

There are two ways to dispatch goblin mages. You can either focus the mage, kill it, and then take out the swarming minions. Or you can dispatch its minions and then focus the mage, use whichever tactic befits your capability.

If your defense is high enough, about 15 DEF or higher then these opponents are harmless to you.
