This enemy was first implemented in {{template-release|patch=X.32.0.0}} despite its sprite existing in the game files for around a decade. In {{template-release|exaltVersion=1.0.2.0}}, this enemy was given a chance to drop the Ancient Ruins, coinciding with the release of the Ruins. It previously did not have a dungeon drop.
