####Behavior **Phase 1:** Chases the closest player while firing waves of Ice Bullets, with the occasional wave of confuse shurikens. **Phase 2:** Stops chasing momentarily and throws a yellow grenade on the last position of the closest player. Upon landing, an Ice portal is spawned. The mage resumes the 1st phase after a short delay. ####Reproduction Spawns:

[Back to top](#top) ###Tips and Strategies **Bow Classes:** Paralyze them whenever you have the chance. The mage will continually give chase until they reach melee range - by which time they are incredibly deadly. **All other classes:** If you are being chased by an Ice adept, running directly backwards will allow you to dodge all of his attacks - including confuse shurikens, without changing direction. Otherwise be wary of the very fast moving shurikens which can send you straight into a wall of Ice bullets. **WARNING:** If you are affected by darkness you can see neither the mage or his heavily stacking shots and it is easy to walk straight into him *or* one of his ice portals. Taking a full shotgun from an Ice adept may **instantly kill you**, so try to remain aware of where the enemies are and who they are/were chasing. [Back to top](#top)
