Mama Megamoth is only able to harm you with the dust she leaves behind. As such, avoid stepping into areas she has just recently been located, and especially don't sit on her.

Try to avoid her minions, their confusion could send you into Mama Megamoth which can incur heavy damage if you don't have enough DEF.

Farming Mama Megamoth is a good strategy if you need common pet eggs.
