Behavior

Several of these surround the Killer Bee Nest. They constantly fire radial bursts of differently-colored Hive Shots while tossing various bombs, and they frequently heal the Boss and all nearby Colonies for large amounts of health. They will occasionally fire multi-directional streams of colored orbs. Every few seconds, they will flash red, turn invulnerable and spawn in a large number of assorted Nest Colony Guardians. When destroyed, the Colony will explode into a massive nova of various Hive Shots.

Tips and Strategies

It is **heavily** advised to destroy most, if not all of the Nest Colonies before attacking the Killer Bee Nest. Not only do the Colonies heal the Nest for large amounts of health and summon minions that assist it, they will continue to lob bombs and fire on players during the chaotic fight with the Beehemoths, which can be detrimental to players. Be especially careful when they are nearing death: when killed, they will explode into a massive ring of various shots that can deal heavy damage to anyone standing too close to them. Back to top
