**Treasurer Gemsbok** is the boss of the east wing of [Oryx's Sanctuary](/wiki/oryx-s-sanctuary). Gemsbok has the least HP but is the most mobile of the four Sanctuary "minibosses", specializing in teleportation and other mechanics designed to disorient players.

{{template-realm-eye-lore
| response=Initially a wealthy emperor, Treasurer Gemsbok’s insatiable greed led him to betray his own kingdom to join Oryx’s rule willingly.

Impressed by the cruelty of this self-serving act, Oryx put him in charge of the financial affairs of the newly overtaken realm.

The few surviving kingdoms from the Mad God’s rampage were brought to their knees through Gemsbok’s oppressive taxes, crumbling any remaining economic structure.
}}

When first approached, he will taunt and warp into the center of the room, closing the room shortly afterwards.
**"An intrusion, all the way down here? Oh, very rich INDEED!"**

Gemsbok moves by teleporting to 5 designated points on the map, 4 around the edges and 1 in the center.

####Phase 1
Taunt: **"Let's see how well you can negotiate for your lives!"**
Gemsbok rapidly teleports between his designated points, firing shotguns of purple waves and throwing out pairs of gems - these explode in AoE blasts that inflict different status effects depending on what color they are. With each successive teleport, his shotgun gets wider - the width resets once he completes a cycle.

As he loses health, he will start adding more bullets to his shotgun, each of which inflicts a different status effect. Midway through the phase, his shotgun will start inflicting severe damage and a multitude of debilitating status effects.

Every few teleports, he will teleport into the center of the room and spawn an invincible coin-like **Treasure Artifact** that orbits the center of the room closely. This coin leaves behind a trail of stationary gem projectiles and fires purple Pet Stasis bolts outwards, which return to it. Up to 3 coins can be active at once. Note that if Gemsbok takes too much damage when throwing out a coin, he will **counter** by inflicting Weak to the whole group for roughly 15 seconds.
**"You're pushing your luck, beggars!""**

On the other hand, if enough damage is dealt to him during his rapid teleportation, it will briefly **stagger** him and open him up for severe damage. (needs confirmation)
*(taunt currently unknown)*

If 3 coins are active and he remains in the phase until a point when he would normally throw out another one, Gemsbok will instead use a special attack signified by a taunt.
**"You're going home in a peasant's coffin!"
"The only heads landing will be yours!"
"Your fortune ends here!"**
Gemsbok's coins rapidly rotate around him as he teleports around several times, launching a massive amount of gemstone bombs with gradually increasing radii every time he teleports. He will eventually teleport into the center of the room and Armor himself before sending his coins to charge at the nearest players. Each coin will fire Cursing purple spinners perpendicular to its path before self-terminating upon hitting a wall.

####Phase 2
Taunt: **"Heads I win, tails you lose!"**
Gemsbok turns invulnerable and moves into the center of the room. He will then spawn 3 special Treasure Artifacts around him, **one of which will be flashing**. Gemsbok then quickly shuffles the coins around for a few seconds, before letting them turn vulnerable. If **the coin that was flashing at the start is damaged enough**, it will rebound and stagger Gemsbok for a significant amount of time, stunning and Armor Breaking him. If enough damage is dealt to him in the stagger, the majority of this phase can be skipped.
**"Wha-"
"NO!"**
(after stagger ends) **"YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT CHEAP SHOT!"**

However, if players choose the wrong coin (or don't choose fast enough), Gemsbok will launch a counterattack in retaliation, inflicting all players with Slowed and Quiet for 30 seconds before continuing his attack. The debuffs *cannot be purified.*
**"Wrong choice, fraudsters!"**

In this phase, Gemsbok behaves much like he did in his first phase. However, his teleportation is less frequent, his shotgun is wider, he throws large bursts of jewel bombs at once, and all 3 of his coins are always active.

####Phase 3
Taunt: **"Impoverished rats! Laugh all you want, but the rich will always take their place above you!"**
Gemsbok moves into the center of the room and begins firing 2-way super-shotguns at players. He will also be throwing large amounts of jewel bombs in cross-shaped bursts. Every few seconds, he will throw out a Treasure Artifact, which charges players while firing purple spinners to the sides.

Upon death, Gemsbok will explode into a shower of harmless coins, opening the way to Oryx 3's chamber.
**"I...ALREADY...WON!"**

|
