#10

Bracer.

#11

Totally forgot about that one lelxd

#12

I don’t know these things!

#13

Then don’t make an item

#14

100 DEF TO PARTY HOLY SHIT DECA ADD THIS NOW (irony)

#15

why do you think i asked you to help -_-

what’s the paliedins minimal mp at level 20? I don’t have it unlocked cense I’m playing on my new account + I haven’t played the game for like four years and forgot the password to the old one

#16

Something that adds Def to party w/o being armored is a cool idea. We already have Jugg and Prot so let’s try to hash out a legitimate idea.

Seal of the Noble Defender
-Tier: UT
-MP Cost: 160
-Duration: 5S * (Wis/Max Wis)
-Cooldown: 7S
-Range: 4* (Wis/Max Wis)
-Effect: Healing, adds 15 Def*(Wis/Max Wis).
-Fame Bonus: 6%
-Stat Bonuses: +40 HP +40 MP -5 Defense

Drops from Janus the Doorwarden

Sorry I’m pretty bad with adding Wis Mods, I feel that 10 Def should be the maximum that it adds overall.

#17

Mhhh, Janus already have a white bag, and it’s an ability too.

Maybe give it to… I’ll search somebody to drop it.

#19

I flagged you and then scrolled up to the OP

Yeeeeaaaah

undos flag

#20

Given the stats, I would assume this is a troll, but the OP is acting like it isn’t…?

#21

I mean I try to give constructive criticism, or not say anything at all, but this was pretty dumb.

#22

How about it drops from a bandit leader?
He could use a nice purple bag drop amirite

#23

Hey there! It might just be me, but I think that this is a tad underpowered.

On a serious note, it seems that you’re new to the game and don’t know how to balance higher-end items, which I don’t blame you for. If you haven’t caught on yet, this item is extremely overpowered and poorly balanced.

Try looking on the wiki for stat guidelines: you’ll know something like a +40 def bonus is off the charts, even for powerful items.

#24

someone finally understands im new here    thanks for the great advice also how can something be underpowered and overpowered?

#25

^^

#26

hmmm i guess this idea should get a big /s behind the name

#27

It’s a superposition of quantum eigenstates, otherwise known as I’m joking for the underpowered part.

#28

how do i make it ‘bearable’?

#29

When making an equipment you usually compare it with other equipments of the same type. 40 def on equip gives the paladin more than enough to compete with knight with tankiness. Not to mention, another +30(15?) upon usage. That’s way high. Not to mention, there are no abilities that gives you 40 def AND 15 att at the same time. AT most, qot gives you 5 att, and that’s on an archer!

The concept of adding extra defense by an absolute value to a party is interesting, and the fact that it doesn’t give you damaging is quite good, but for that whole 10 seconds, your Paladin has a potential of 70 to 75 def, and 55 to 60 without buff.

As comparison, a jugg warrior has 4.5 seconds of 70 def, and 35 every other second. Of course, jugg also gives you berserk, but you can see that the power of the ability comes from after the usage, not before.
