While not providing any stats by itself, this ring provides significant stat boosts when worn with other Alien Gear, reaching its full potential with an Alien Weapon and a Protection Matrix. Its effect is unpredictable, but can still help a lot if it triggers.

The Power Core in particular is entirely dedicated to DPS and provides an obscene DPS boost at full power - equivalent to two Forgotten Crowns or Magical Lodestones - making it extremely effective for DPS classes that could give up survivability for massively boosted damage. Long-ranged DPS classes like Wizards could obviously use it well, but it could also work on melee DPS classes like Warrior, as they can make the most effect of the triggered effect.

During the Alien Invasion event of MotMG 2019, it could also be obtained by trading in 3 stacks of 25 Malogia Fragments and a stack of 25 Metal Scrap at the Tinkerer. During the later Alien Invasion 2 event, it could be obtained by trading 2 stacks of 20 Universal Fragments at the Tinkerer.

Trivia
This item, alongside the other Alien Cores, drops in orange bags despite having a BagType value of 6 in the XML, which would normally assign items to white bags. However, the ST status of the item automatically assigns it to orange bags and overwrites the BagType parameter.
