Notes
The Bow of Deep Enchantment can be used similarly to the Warmonger by hitting only its higher-damage middle shot and one defense-ignoring side shot, which will have true range of 7.04 tiles, while dealing damage comparable to that of the Leaf Bow and even being more effective than the Leaf Bow at very high defense, all with the benefit of piercing enemies.

At its true range, this bow outdamages the Warmonger at around 20 defense and always outdamages the Bow of the Void. It also outdamages the Predator Bow’s front three shots starting at around 10 defense (but Predator Bow is still stronger when sitting on enemies at any reasonable defense).

History
In Exalt Version 1.0.0.0 (July 2020), the item was released as a drop from Oryx the Mad God 3, along with the other T14 weapons, T7 abilities, and T15 armor.

Before Exalt Version 2.3.0.0 (Mar 2022), this weapon had 3 identical projectiles with arc gap of 8° (true range was 3.56) and damage of 70-85. It also had a 7% XP bonus and the following sprite:

Trivia
This bow had the following sprite before its official release:
Bow of Deep Enchantment (old)

For many years, the T14 bow was an unreleased item not obtainable by players. Some bows were spawned in production by exploiters in November 2012, but they were deleted alongside other unreleased items. A screenshot during the incident can be found here.

In Patch X.16.0 (Aug 2017), the bow and projectile sprites were changed to black squares to reflect the item’s status as unreleased.

When the bow was finally released to the public, it was considered highly ineffective against single targets as its low true range made it impractical to use, and its low damage per shot made it very weak against targets with defense even at its true range.

April Fools Version
For April Fools 2022 the item was temporarily renamed to “Bow of Surface Level Enchantment”, with the description “It’s enchanted, but rather sloppily”.

The Realm Eye says:
Astonishing that a mortal would know of the Bow of Deep Enchantment. Very well, I shall tell you what I know. These bows are more ancient than even our own world, as the nightmatter that composes it was only present during the nebulae that formed the stars. Even the tiniest flaw would cause the nightmatter to eventually fade into stardust, so their existence alone shows the consummate skills of its creators.
