Notes:
This weapon has the third highest average damage per shot in the game (449.5), after
Void Blade (649.5) and
Indomptable (607.5).
This bow has become very popular due to the fact that not only does it do massive damage per shot, but also because of its good range. The only drawback is its low fire rate but that isn’t too much of a problem with maxed DEX. High-Tier Leather Armors also boost DEX, making the fire rate problem even smaller.
This bow, unlike Coral Bow and Bow of Covert Havens, has good DPS against high defense enemies, and can utilize this DPS to its full 7.04 tile range. Coral Bow, comparatively, has to hit with two shots, making that particular bow’s true range about 5.08 tiles, even though the Coral Bow’s projectiles can potentially shoot 7.77 tiles away individually.
With maxed attack and paired with any item that boosts ATT even further, you can sometimes do over 1000 damage per hit, meaning you can wipe out a Medusa in 2 hits and many other gods in 1 hit. Keep in mind, however, that a DEX ring would increase your DPS better with this particular bow than an ATT ring would.
This is a great weapon to use in a FFA Tomb of the Ancients - your damage will render enemy defense trivial even without maxed attack and you can simply slow or paralyze the bosses and stay at a relatively safe range.
