Notes:
This weapon has the fifth highest average damage per shot in the game (450) after Staff of Eruption (535), Indomptable (550), Void Blade (650) and Blade of Ages (1000).
The Doom Bow is generally good for normal use, as the shots deal nearly 1000 damage with maxed attack, which can one shot lower health enemies. The high damage per hit allows the player to deal large damage in a couple hits, and is also effective against higher defense enemies. The single shot with high range makes it easy to snipe bosses from afar while still doing high damage. The only drawback is the low fire rate, making it hard to hit fast moving enemies.
Although each shot has high damage, the dps of this bow is relatively low compared to other UT bows at lower defense. At higher defense, this bow is outclassed by the Bergenia Bow, as Bergenia Bow always outdamages Doom Bow at any defense, as well as having a higher range and projectile speed. However, Bergenia Bow doesn’t pierce, which makes Doom Bow more useful for senarios where a boss is surrounded by several other enemies.
Overall, this bow is powerful and versatile due to its high damage per shot, long range and ability to pierce. This makes it usable in many senerios and as a main bow, although it is still good to carry around another bow for clearing or for higher dps.
