Steam Pipe

Steam Pipe steamworks Small Fire Drop

steamworks Small Water Drop
Efforts by lower workers of the kogbolds to arm themselves against invaders has resulted in various interesting crudely made armaments. Fashioned from the boiler of a steam generator, this staff projects its scalding vapors towards a target, cooking them alive.

Drops From Kogbold Flying Machine

Notes
The Steam Pipe fires four decelerating shots at once in a line; two piercing water shots, and two armor piercing fire shots. Each subsequent shot has a faster deceleration, and thus a shorter range. Shots will reach their final destination at roughly the same time. Like many decelerating weapons, the Steam Pipe is great against enemies who chase you.

If you can hit all 4 shots, this staff outdamages the T14 Staff of the Fundamental Core at all levels of DEF, and Superior at medium DEF at higher. The tradeoff is the low true range of this staff. This means that you need to get very close to enemies who aren’t chasing you.

History
Before Exalt Version 3.3.5.0 (Mar 2023), this weapon fired two steam projectiles dealing 60-100 damage, which would split apart and turn in opposite directions upon reaching the end of the weapon’s range. The steam projectiles would pierce targets, but did not pierce armor.
