Tips and Strategies

Sometimes crystals will spawn on rocks or pillars. When this happens, it will be extremely hard to crack. [It is still possible to crack it with single shot weapons combined with perfect positioning](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQsIA1tX8Ys). Alternatively, a large group of players using piercing abilities (such as quivers or shields) and [Wand of the Bulwark](/wiki/wand-of-the-bulwark), combined with warrior and paladin buffs.
However, any over-eager knight, if standing on the crystal when it fires it's massive shotgun, is asking for an instant death.
