| OTHER: SEASONAL
| OTHER: REGULAR

YOU: SEASONAL

| TRADE ALLOWED
| TRADE DISABLED

|
YOU: REGULAR

| TRADE DISABLED
| TRADE ALLOWED

Seasonal Storage

Seasonal Characters share their Vault, Potion Vault and Gift Chest; but they are completely separate from the regular version of a character. Practically, this means you cannot share items between regular and Seasonal Vaults. Only your seasonal characters can open this Vault and deposit and extract items from it.

Every new season the Seasonal Vault will be completely wiped and therefore be empty with 16 slots (old items are transferred to the regular Vault).

The Forge will only use items inside your Seasonal Vault when playing a seasonal character, and it is also reset on every season for your seasonal characters. You can still use blueprints to unlock recipes in it, but you need to be conscious of this reset.

Seasonal Vault Expansion

The Seasonal Vault is a new entity and Vault expansions for your regular vault do not apply. The Seasonal Vault can only be expanded once per season, from 16 to 32 Slots. Click on the “Expand” button with the Vault menu open to do so, and this operation costs Gold.

Using the Seasonal Gift Chest

The Seasonal Gift Chest is a new entity and does not share the loot with the regular one. All items that are supposed to be sent to your Gift Chest when playing a seasonal character, will end up in this special version. This includes buying items in the shop, Daily Login bonus, rewards from quests, etc.

Non-affected storage systems

We also have some systems that are not going to be impacted by your decision of playing a seasonal character. Pets and the petyard in total are still shared amongst all regular and seasonal characters.

This also applies to your wardrobe. You can still use all the skins/gravestones you already own on a regular character, on a new seasonal character.

End of season

Once a season ends all seasonal characters will be transformed into regular characters. All items will be automatically transferred from your seasonal character’s inventory to your regular character’s inventory.

Also, all items in your Seasonal Vault, Seasonal Potion Vault and Seasonal Gift Chest will get converted into “Seasonal Chests” and transferred to your regular Gift Chest.

Once this is done, all your progress on the season will be reset, starting the next season with a cleanslate. Storage and forge will also reset.

Rule Changer NPC

The Rule Changer NPC is still not implemented.

You will find a new NPC in the Nexus to convert your seasonal characters into regular ones. Upon approaching him, a button will appear that states “Convert Seasonal to Regular”. If clicked you will get a notification that this decision is final. The CS Team can’t undo this decision.

Thanksgiving Event

Starting on the 22nd of November and ending after two weeks, on the 5th of December, the Seasonal Gratitude Event will find its way into Realm of the Mad God. Your goal? Work together as a community and slay the bosses in the Lost Halls, Cultist Hideout and the Void with a Seasonal Character. For every character that witnesses a kill on one of these bosses, the community receives 1 point towards the global objective.

Objective 1: Marble Colossus requires 15000 Points to complete it.

Objective 2: Malus requires 10000 Points to complete it.

Objective 3: The Void Entity requires 5500 Points to complete it.

Rewards

The rewards for this Event depend on how many goals you are able to finish as a community!
If one of the goals is completed, players will earn one week of Free O3 with their own community goal for a chance at an additional title.

If two of the goals are completed, all players will be treated with an O3 Chest Event.

If you are able to complete all three goals, every player that contributed to the objective will be granted the new Chibi Oryx Pet Skin.

Collapsible Tooltips

With this new QoL feature, by default, the “advanced” details on items that have long tooltips will now be hidden. You can hold the Contextual Information button (by default, LCTRL) while hovering the cursor to see a full description.

This will only apply to items that have a tooltip higher than ~2/3 of the screen.

Fixes

- Fixed an issue where players would not be able to cross the bridge and additionally are taking damage when teleporting after destroying all required statues in the Shatters and Shatters Rehearsal Dungeon. You can also now safely cross the bridge again after teleportation.

Events

Starting on the 22nd of November at 12 AM UTC until 5th of December at the same time, the Lost Halls, Cultist Hideout and the Void will give 1.5x XP and Loot.

Starting on the 22nd of November at 12 AM UTC until the 28th of November a Chest Event will be running in the Third Dimension.

Starting on the 28th of November at 12 AM UTC until the 5th of December a Chest Event will be running in the Woodland Labyrinth.

Starting on the 23th of November at 12 AM UTC until the 28th of November a Chest Event will be running in the Lair of Draconis.

Starting on the 24th of November at 12 AM UTC until the 29th of November a Chest Event will be running in the Mountain Temple.

- Adventurer’s Belt

## [Update 3.3.0.0 – Oryxmas and Steamworks](//remaster.realmofthemadgod.com/?p=3552) {#exalt-version-3-3-0-0}
### December 13

Ho Ho Ho Realmers!

The year is slowly coming to an end but we still have 1 more Update in our sleeves. Remove the dust off of your sledge and get ready to jump into the new content coming to Realm of the Mad God. With this release, we are introducing the Kogbold Steamworks to you! Beat the mighty mechanical enemies on a Seasonal Character to gain even more rewards with our new Missions Feature. And while you do all of that you will even gain extra BXP for our new Battle Pass! Down below you will find more information about all the new things.

Kogbold Steamworks

The Steamworks is a completely new dungeon coming to the Realm of the Mad God. Its Difficulty level is around 8/10, which makes it a very challenging dungeon, apt only for the well-prepared.

Long ago, before the reign of Oryx, before the gift of immortality was stolen from the heroes, Kobolds inhabited the realm. A race excelling in craftsmanship held back only by their tragically short lifespans, Kobolds were never truly able to reach their potential. In the Archives, they were thought extinct… until now.

Under the radar, a very tiny group of Kobolds survived for centuries. It is unknown how they did escape Oryx’s conquest, but they did. They thrived and perfected what would ultimately be the salvation of their race: true artificial, omniscient intelligence. It bore no fancy names, as the kobolds simply called it “the core”. But it was indeed a miracle of technology, and it changed their fate forever.

Kobolds evolved. Their fragile, weak flesh was reinforced by metal, their organs remade with brass and steel. Ideal to live forever. To work forever. The Core made its creators immortal, and then made them work for it. With time, this was their only truth, the Core was the supreme supervisor and they, reborn as “Kogbolds”, would play their part. The roadmap is already planned. There’s lots of work to do.

Efficiency. Unstoppable growth. The Core was determined to take the chance of learning more, assimilating more, control more. It was time to send an expeditionary force, conquer the realm, and assimilate its resources.

Back to work!

Dungeon

The Steamworks is a huge factory, well hidden from prying eyes thanks to the use of advanced technology.

The Steamworks is composed of several different rooms. Each of them has a different function and shape, but all of them have dangerous environmental hazards that will make you think twice before crossing them. In the Steamworks, the rooms themselves are part of the challenge. Learning how to navigate through them and make the best use of your class’ ability will prove to be a true challenge in itself.

Portal

Key

Dungeon boss

The Steamworks is diligently managed by the ultimate AI, known as the Factory Control Core.

Because it values efficiency the most, it won’t waste a single bit of energy on you unless forced to. Due to that, this boss has 3 different forms, as you manage to force it to recombine itself into stronger forms.

This bossfight is a challenge we hope you will find compelling. Through several phases, the Core will try a variety of attack patterns for which all character classes can find diverse countermeasures.

Drops:

- Greater Stat Potions

The expeditionary force sent to the realm by the Core is none other than… a train?

The Kogbold Expedition Engine is a powerful entity engineered in the Steamworks, and it transports all the workers sent by the Core to the realm. It is an intense fight that will take place over train tracks which the Kogbold Expedition Engine follows. Of course, this machine is packed with powerful artillery and can deploy Kogbolds and other surprises… so don’t let your ward down on it!

After a defeat, the Kogbold Expedition Engine will leave an open portal to the Steamworks.

You can find the Encounter up to twice per realm.

Drops:

- Tier 8 Weapons

Missions

If you play a Seasonal Character, now you will have access to the new Mission system. Missions are tasks that you can complete in exchange for prizes and Battle Pass XP.

Mission List

To access Missions, you will notice the new missions icon in your interface. Click it to display the Current Missions Panel. This panel will show the missions that are currently unlocked.

In general, you can only make progress on missions that you have unlocked. If you make progress in a mission you haven’t unlocked yet, it might not count, but this depends on the type of mission.

The progress of a mission will be indicated by the filled bar, and once it gets to the maximum, the mission will be ready to claim (and will glow with a yellow outline). Any new missions unlocked will also appear instantly.

| |
