With the recent update to the Wisdom stat for Priest, changes to the Wands category of weapons include a shortening of range on all wands (other than the Spicy Wand of Spice). This, as a result, gives the St. Abraham's Wand a special use: It has a long-enough range to allow for the weapon to kill certain bosses without even **activating** them. The only really good use of the St. Abraham's Wand is on the [first boss](/wiki/dr-terrible) in the [Mad Lab](/wiki/mad-lab) as it is the only boss that you can really potshot at with the St. Abraham's Wand without activating it first. By using the St. Abraham's Wand in this case, it will be a safer and easier battle without having to chase the boss around and have the chance of dying.
