I would like to be able to disable private chat without turning off all player chat. The only time private chat is ever used is for RMT bot whispers, but right now the game won’t let you turn it off without also turning off chat from everyone, which means you miss dungeon calls and such.
I can’t imagine why the two are linked in such a way. It would be really nice if they weren’t.
This has been discussed a few times already. All are similar just different reasons for each.
The list goes in and on… the issue has been reported to Deca on a number of occasions by various players but I would suggest you also submit this issue to them. The more players that complain, the higher the chance they will prioritize a fix.
