The spider dens are caves infested by spiders. They emit a special fluid called ichor, which has healing capabilities. They rarely leave their caves because they hate sunlight. Bows are recommended for clearing out these pests due to those weapons piercing and long distance capabilities.
Entrances to the Spider Den are dropped by
Orc Kings,
Undead Dwarf Warriors,
Urgles, and
Cyclops Gods. It is the source of
healing ichors.
This dungeon is a linear series of underground caverns teeming with many types of spiders. Green spider eggs are scattered throughout the dungeon. They will not hatch unless shot or walked on. All spiders excluding the green hatchling drop healing ichors (heals 150 HP). If you are doing the Spider Den for healing ichors or boss items, it is wise to avoid hatching the green hatchlings. Note!!! Trickster's decoy will hatch the eggs, so be careful.

The queen of all spiders, the Hatchlings are clearly her heirs.
While she looks threatening, she really isn't much of a problem if you clear out the hatchlings first. It is also important to note that the white lines that Arachna makes using white orbs does not harm the player; instead it acts like web slowing the player down to make for an easy target.
