Behavior

The Sprite Beast will loosely chase players, firing spreads of three Slowing projectiles. It seems easily distracted, frequently pausing for about a second before resuming the chase.

Tips and Strategies

The Slow effect doesn’t last very long, so it can mostly be ignored. The Sprite Beast is really only a threat to weak characters using Staves; it has decent damage, defense high enough to cause problems for a T6 staff on a fresh level 20, and spawns in packs to take advantage of Robes’ low defenses.

They drop Speed potions and the Snake Pit at a decent rate, so killing them can be valuable even for late-game players if one needs Speed potions for other characters or the Tinkerer.
